Our business is a team sport. There’s a common goal, and everyone has a specialized role to play. Although each assignment is tailored to individual needs, the Largent & Associates team members share a process and a dedication to the highest levels of communication and service. Meet our team:
Kyle Largent is Principal of Largent & Associates. A Hoosier, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Indiana University’s Kelly School of Business and began a 20-year career in sales, working in the technology and medical industries. During that time, Kyle received a variety of top-performance awards. Pursuing a long-held entrepreneurial goal, Kyle established his own recruiting firm in 1997. Largent & Associates began as an Executive Search firm in Orange County California. In 2010 Kyle moved the headquarters to the Pacific Northwest, opened a new office and launched an HR Services brand to support small businesses in the region. Outside the office, Kyle enjoys swimming laps and serves on his local homeowner’s board. His true recreational passion is autocross racing a Porsche GT3.
Lisa Shatzkin is a Senior Associate at Largent & Associates and joined the team in 2011. Lisa worked full-time in college to graduate from California State University of Northridge with a degree in Family Environmental Sciences and Business. Prior to joining Largent & Associates, she had an award-winning track record in technical sales, sales training and sales management. Lisa has a passion for helping both clients and candidates find the perfect “match” to take their company or career to the next level. She prides herself in understanding the needs of both parties to make this happen. Lisa manages the Orange County office, and when she is not at work, she and her husband enjoy cheering for their three young daughters at swim meets, cooking for friends and taking SPIN together. Lisa is very active in her community and volunteers for the National Charity League, PTSO and several other local and national charity organizations.
Tami Janecki joined the Largent & Associates team in 2013. With her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/HR Emphasis from Washington State University-Vancouver and Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR©) certification, Tami has more than nine years of broad-scope human resource management and corporate recruiting experience in both the public and private sectors. Tami volunteers with local schools, career-readiness and HR association groups to facilitate educational opportunity, professional development and practical career search resources. Her personal interests include walking, baking and finding new day-trip destinations around the Portland-metro area. Tami grew up in Vancouver, WA and lives in Camas, WA with her husband and daughter.
Krista Hohman joined Largent & Associates in March 2013. She previously worked in Human Resources for Vancouver Public Schools and Educational Service District 112. Krista is a graduate of Washington State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s of Social Science in Personnel Psychology/Human Resource Management. Krista has a passion for working with jobseekers to help them advance their careers, and she thrives on providing excellent customer service. In addition to spending time with her husband, young daughter and two pugs, Krista also enjoys exploring the Pacific Northwest, jogging, traveling, cooking/baking and working on DIY projects for her home.
Amber Olstad is a recent addition to our Largent & Associates Team with a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Minor in Human Resources Management from Warner Pacific College. Although she grew up in Vancouver, Amber spent 6 years in New York City as an actress and model. Now relocated to the Pacific Northwest, Amber enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband and friends. Her personal interests include karaoke, swing dancing, roller skating, photography, reading, exploring new restaurants, beach trips, and home decorating/remodeling projects.
Kevin Onderdonk has diagnostics, healthcare advertising, clinic operations and medical device manufacturing field experience. His expertise in the healthcare industry spans all facets of sales, supervising and related activities. He has extensive proficiency in customer service, staff training/development and corporate marketing communications. Kevin’s perspective is informed by his work at Fortune 500 medical companies and small startups. His specialty is Genomics, Personalized Medicine and Cancer Medicine. Kevin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from the University of California at Davis. He has two sons and lives in Southern California. His hobbies are running, cycling and cooking. He is passionate about participating in charity work and is actively involved in several in his community.
Susan Largent enjoys her role as Office Manager at Largent & Associates. Originally a Hoosier, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Indiana University. Combining education with technology early in her career, Susan held multiple roles with educational software teams, most notably Macmillan McGraw-Hill. Her roles emphasized documentation development, project management and customer service. Upon relocating to Southern California in the late 1990’s, Susan continued her career in the software industry in support roles with FileNet Corporation and IBM before joining Kyle at Largent & Associates in 2007. Susan’s personal interests include NPR, travel, art history, doting on family and Skyping with her little granddaughter in Boston.
